The volunteer sewers of St John’s Hospice will create an intricately stitched patchwork cushion from the garments of your loved one. These lovingly crafted cushions provide a tangible way for you and your family to remember someone and hold them close.
To make one of the very special patchwork cushions we will need between 4-10 freshly laundered shirts, blouses or other cotton garments (10 is ideal).
Other wonderful designs are also available – The Wise Owl and Never Forget Elephant. These can be made with a wider variety of fabrics. Simply bring us your treasured items and we will advise on the best options.
