VOICE Forum

St John's Hospice VOICE is the service user forum for the hospice. It stands for Valued  Opinions to Improve Care Excellence.

It is a group of people, patient and family members/carers who have all had experience in some way of any of the services that St John's provides in the past 5 years.
The forum meets every six weeks to discuss any comments, ideas and thoughts that may make a difference to everyone who uses the services.

It is especially important that this happens in order to ensure that our care is of the highest standard possible by listening to the people who use our services.

We are involved in many things including patient led assessment of the care environment on an annual basis, reviewing leaflets and information sheets that are produced for patients and their families.

If you have been a service user in the past 5 years, you have a few hours to spare and you would like to support the hospice services in this way, please contact Alison Isherwood, Volunteer Facilitator for an informal chat, either by email at [email protected] or telephone 01524 382538.
