Funeral and memorial collections are a simple yet important way to celebrate the life of your loved one by having a collection in their memory, to support the work of St John's with their end of life care.
If you would like to support Hospice care through a collection at a funeral or memorial service many funeral directors will be able to arrange this for you and forward the donations to St John’s Hospice.
Alternatively, if you would like to arrange the collection yourself in person or online through social media, please contact the hospice on 01524 382538 and ask to speak to the fundraising team. You can also order a free personalised donation box for your collection.
If you would prefer to make a one-off donation you can donate online, send a cheque to the hospice made payable to ‘St John’s Hospice’, or dedicate a special message on an engraved leaf on our beautiful Memory Tree.
We have partnered with MuchLoved to enable you to set up an online tribute page in memory of your loved one. A tribute page offers a dedicated space to honour that special person by sharing photos, videos and memories with friends and family.
The page will stay open indefinitely so you can add to it whenever you like, be that on a birthday, anniversary or any other time. The pages are free to set up but donations can be made in memory of your loved one to St John’s Hospice.
MuchLoved can also be used to create an online funeral notice; to easily share details of the day and collect donations in memory of your loved one. Following the funeral the page can then remain open and be used like a tribute page to share memories and offer a long-lasting memorial.
Please email [email protected] or call 01524 382538 if you require any further assistance or help in setting up your tribute page.
