Fundraising Volunteers

CAN YOU SPARE TIME ON AN AD HOC BASIS TO HELP WITH HOSPICE EVENTS AND OTHER FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR?

There is always something going on at St John’s Hospice, helping us to raise the almost £3 million required each year to keep the Hospice services open. That means there are lots of exciting events and fundraising activities happening throughout our region from Garstang to Grasmere! None of this would be possible without our loyal family of incredible volunteers. From an hour or two once a year to regular involvement at multiple events, any time and expertise you can spare is gratefully appreciated.

WHAT KIND OF THINGS CAN I HELP WITH?

From sitting in a supermarket manning a stall or collection bucket, to marshalling through the night at the Moonlight Walk on your Harley Davidson…..there is something to suit everybody.

Below are some examples of the skills and help we need:-

Bag Packing   |   Cake Baking   |   Christmas Tree Collections   |   Collections (street and store)

Distribution (posters and collection boxes)   |   Event Setup   |   Marshalling

Public Speaking   |   Refreshments   |   Stalls
