More than 120 people attended our Machu Picchu Trek information evening, and we are excited to announce that 56 people have now registered to go on this once in a lifetime trek for the hospice.
This amazing group of people are aiming to raise more than £100,000 for St John’s Hospice. During the next 15 months they will be working hard and using all their creative talents to hold lots of different fundraising events and initiatives. In addition they will have to train really hard to prepare their bodies for the physical demands and for the altitude which will cause some ill effects in the first 2-3 days of the trek. The better prepared their bodies are the lesser the altitude impact will be.
