St John’s Hospice is a highly respected, local charity delivering specialist end of life care across North Lancashire and South Lakes and we simply couldn’t do this without our incredible supporters. That’s why we need you to help us ensure they get the best possible experience whenever they contact us.
We are currently looking for two highly-competent Supporter Care Officers to be part of our new Supporter Care Team to provide outstanding customer service to our donors and supporters.
Hours: 21 per week for each post (Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday – 7 hours per day)
Pay: *£19,480 – £20,085 per annum pro rata (dependant on pension scheme eligibility)
Pension Scheme: 8% employer contribution (*NHS Pension Scheme available subject to eligibility)

As an experienced administrator and data handler, you will provide a first-class service to all our donors and prospective supporters to enable the Charity to build strong and long-lasting relationships. You will provide database support, ensuring supporter records are kept up to date and accurate. You will also manage incoming donations from a variety of channels including collection boxes, post, bank, online platforms and card payments, ensuring that donations are processed and acknowledged quickly and efficiently.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a talented administrator who has proven customer service and database experience. You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills with a strong, positive and proactive approach to your workload.
We’re looking for genuine team players who can contribute effectively to the team as well as the ability to work independently.
Experience of processing donations/income would be highly desirable, and acute attention to detail, first rate communication skills and excellent customer service experience is essential. Demonstrable experience of working with MS Office and strong database skills are crucial.
