In partnership with Ibex creative in Kendal, St John’s Hospice have today launched a new website.
The previous website had been up and running for almost 10 years and as hospice Communications Officer, Andy Cruxton says, a lot has changed in that time, “10 years is a very long time in terms of information technology. If you think about how we use the internet and the devices we use to get online, it has totally changed. There were no tablets or smartphones and social media was still in its early stages. The new website adapts according to the device you are using, and it is also much brighter, fresher and easier to navigate.”
The company who built the website is a local firm in Kendal called Ibex Creative. Andy said, “Ibex have been great from the very first meeting. We are not web experts here at the hospice but they listened to us, interpreted what we wanted and built a really intuitive and user friendly site with a fresh look. They are on hand to help us now it is live too. We are a local charity providing services to our community so it was important to us that the company we used to build our site had the same ethos. We can’t recommend them enough.”
