This 2 acre woodland garden in the tranquil Winster valley has extensive views to the Pennines. The four season garden, restored since 2003, including expanses of rock planted sympathetically with grasses, unusual trees and shrubs, climaxing for autumn colour. There are native hedges and areas of plant rich meadows.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at Find a Garden | National Garden Scheme (ngs.org.uk) with proceeds from tickets going to NGS.
Refreshments will be provided by St John’s Hospice, with all proceeds going directly to the hospice.
