Join us for our 2025 Cross Bay Walk. This adventure takes to the sands of Morecambe Bay to support St John’s Hospice on Sunday 17th August 2025.

Walking the Cross Bay Walk for St John’s Hospice means your walking to support local patients and families – Thank You!
Setting off from Arnside Promenade and arriving at Grange, the walk is approximately 8.5 miles and takes around 3-4 hours. Start and end times are yet to be confirmed.
Please note the minimum recommended age for children is 10 years old. Places are limited and early booking is highly advisable to avoid disappointment.
Well behaved dogs are welcome at a cost of £1 per dog. You can buy your dog tickets HERE.

£35 - This could fund a Memory Box for a family filled with cherished items and memories of their loved one, which will help them process their grief.
£80 - Could fund a Hospice at Home visit from two members of our team, supporting a patient and their family during the last two months of life.
£160 - Could fund a night sitting visit to enable a family carer to have a good night’s sleep to help them through the next day.

Directions: The start point for the Cross Bay Walk is the Promenade at Arnside. Finishing point is Grange over Sands. Please note that transport back to the start point is not provided. There are train stations at both start and end points.
