Working as a Furniture Shop Manager you will work to the best of your ability to maximise sales and minimise costs. Maintain a high standard of presentation, both in the windows and the interior of the shop. Be accountable for the effective management of staff, volunteers, stock and administration. To motivate and train staff and volunteers to a high standard, creating a team spirit in your store. You will deliver excellent customer service and present a professional image to staff, volunteers and customers at all times reflecting the image and reputation of St John’s Hospice.
Location: 31-35 The Arndale Centre, Morecambe
Hours: 35 per week
Working Pattern: 5 x 7 hour days over a 6 day rota (Monday to Saturday), 9.15am – 4:45pm
Contract: Fixed Term 12 months
Pay: £14,905 per annum
Pension Scheme 8% employer contribution
Closing Date: 24th December 2018
The Arndale shop is currently on a temporary lease and if terminated you will be required to perform other duties eg covering other shops. This is a discounted furniture shop and the successful applicant will need to be able to maneuver furniture around the store.
