Relationship Manager (Wills & Legacies)
We have a unique opportunity for someone to become our next Relationship Manager (Wills and Legacies), who will develop and implement the legacy strategy for St John’s Hospice – could this be you?
Here’s what Stuart Nelson, our current Relationship Manager (Wills and Legacies) has to say about the role >>
“I’m retiring later the year and will be sorry to leave my role as Relationship Manager (Wills and Legacies) for St John’s Hospice, but it’s time to hand over the baton to someone new with equal energy and enthusiasm that this role deserves and demands.
Legacies represent such an important part of the Hospice income stream and as well as building and maintaining relationships with existing legacy supporters, you’ll be dealing regularly with solicitors and Executors in the administration of gifts in wills. The role demands some knowledge of administration of estates and I’d highly recommend that any new appointee considers studying towards the appropriate Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners qualification. It really helps to understand the law and the language!
If you like people, can communicate well and have good personal organisational skills this is a role for you. You’ll meet some wonderful people, staff, volunteers, and supporters alike as well as making a significant contribution to the ongoing work of a truly wonderful charity.”
If you are looking to take on a new challenge in a well-established organisation and want to make a difference to the lives of those people who support the work of the Hospice, then we’d really like to hear from you.
