The Big Nourish Picnic 2022
We are so excited to launch our Big Nourish Picnic for 2022 and we really hope that your school will be able to join in the fun!
What is it?
This year we are back in Williamson’s Park, Lancaster on Tuesday 12th July for lots of fun activities that promote wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle. There’s lots to learn from the Big Picnic, and lots of fun too!
Each school that signs up will be able to attend the Big Picnic, where volunteers from across the community will lead sessions to help you look after yourself physically and mentally! Keep your body healthy with nutritious food and fun exercise, and keep your mind healthy by valuing nature and learning to destress – there’s a whole range of activities, and something new and fun for everyone!
We hope that you will be able to join us for this end of year celebration, it will also offer a sneak preview of what you might expect from our Nourish programme during the next academic year.
What is the cost?
Our main goal for the Big Picnic is to raise awareness of the work of St John’s Hospice, and our work with children and families through our new Forget Me Not Centre. We also want to to form close relationships with our school communities – therefore there is no cost to your school to take part in the picnic. As a charity, we rely on donations to keep operating, so we would like to ask for a voluntary donation of £1 per child

With very best wishes,
