Lottery Manager

Are you creative, ambitious and have a passion and drive for success?  Do you want to lead and grow our hospice lottery?  We have a new and exciting opportunity to be the Lottery Manager at St John’s, where you will grow and develop our lottery into a sustainable income stream to allow us to continue to provide care to our community.

Location:                   St John’s Hospice, Slyne Road, Lancaster
Hours:                         28 hours per week
Contract:                  Permanent
Work Pattern:        4 days per week including a Friday
Pay:                              £24,258 – £25,000* per annum pro rata (*depending upon pension scheme). Annual salary shown is based on working 37.5 hours per week.
Pension scheme:  8% employer contribution (*NHS Pension Scheme available subject to eligibility)

Interview date:      Week commencing 1st July 2019

Job Purpose:

  • Develop, grow and manage the Hospice’s lottery operation maximising potential whilst delivering exceptional customer service to lottery members and the community.
  • Manage the relationship with the external providers of Lottery sales staff ensuring they receive the knowledge and motivation to promote growth and achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • The Lottery Manager is a member of the Hospice Fundraising Team with responsibility for managing the St John’s Hospice lottery.
