Our teams provide end of life care for thousands of people every year through our Day Therapy Centre, Inpatient Ward, Hospice at Home and Clinical Nurse Specialist teams.
St John’s Hospice is a charity, around one third of our funding comes from the local NHS and two thirds from our wonderful community. You can help St John’s continue to care for your community in many different ways during the COVID-19 crisis. Here are three simple ways:
1. Make a donation
One of the easiest ways to donate is to use our website. Along the top bar of the website front page is a purple ‘make a donation’ button. If you click the button you can choose the amount you wish to donate and simply follow the instructions. If you prefer to make a donation over the phone you can call St John’s Hospice reception on tel: 01524 382538 between 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday and 12noon-6.00pm Saturday and Sunday
2. Play our lottery for £1 per week
You can help fund St John’s care by taking part in the weekly lottery. The information is on our website at: www.sjhospice.org.uk/lottery. Or you can call reception on tel: 01524 382538 between 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday and 12 noon-6.00pm Saturday and Sunday and we will post the lottery information details to you.
3. Consider a regular monthly gift
By making a regular monthly donation you will enable us to plan our care and support for your community. The information is on our website at www.sjhospice.org.uk/regulargiving. Or you can call reception on tel: 01524 382538 between 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday and 12 noon-6.00pm Saturday and Sunday and we will post the lottery information details to you.
If these options don’t work for you there are lots of other ways you can support St John’s such as birthday fundraisers on Facebook or perhaps donating to one of our supporter initiatives – these and more can be found on our Facebook page which is: www.facebook.com/pg/sjhospice/fundraisers
If you would like to do something in the future such as take part in an event, leave a gift in your will, or something different you can look at our website: www.sjhospice.org.uk
Thank you for helping us to keep on caring
