Healthcare Assistant

A rare opportunity has arisen on our Inpatient Unit for a Healthcare Assistant. Our unit provides symptom management and end of life care for people living with life-shortening illnesses.

Hours:                         21 hours per week. Service covers 365 days a year 7 days a week on a rota system.
Contract:                   Permanent
Pay:                               *£9,795 – £10,101 per annum (dependant on pension scheme)
Pension Scheme    8% employer contribution (*NHS Pension Scheme available subject to eligibility)
Closing Date:           Wednesday 3rd April 2019

As a Healthcare Assistant, working to the standards set out in the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers, you will support and implement the delivery of nursing care to patients within a clinical setting as part of a team and under the direction of a registered professional. Flexible working will be required to meet the needs of the patients group and will include working evenings, weekends and nights as part of the nursing rota.
