St John’s Hospice is currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants to join our small team of ‘bank’ nurses. If you are able to offer flexibility and are available to work, on occasions, at quite short notice we would love to hear from you.
Hours: This is a bank position. Shift pattern is a full 24/7 rotation of shifts over a 365 days a year rota
Contract: Bank work, variable hours
Pay: *£8.74 – £11.16 per hour (pay dependent on experience, the type of shift, eg day/night and also pension scheme)
Pension Scheme: 8% employer contribution (*NHS Pension Scheme available subject to eligibility)

Your role will be to provide skilled healthcare for patients with palliative and end of life care needs within the main services of St John’s Hospice ie In-patient Unit and Hospice at Home. St John’s cares for adult patients and their families, providing 24 hour specialist palliative care for symptom management and end of life care.
