We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Facilities to join our Finance and Resources team. This team has responsibilities across our main hospice building, our newly built Forget Me Not centre, our grounds and our hospice shops. With responsibility for the maintenance and housekeeping of the buildings and grounds and delivering a catering service, you will also act as the project manager for defined capital projects. You will also have responsibility for the management of staff and external companies in delivering the above. The role will be predominately based at the Slyne Road site, with visits to our hospice shops as required.

Location: St John’s Hospice, Lancaster
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (with some out of hours work required)
Pay: £32,409* – £37,128 per annum (dependant on experience and pension scheme)
Pension: *NHS Pension Scheme available subject to availability criteria; or 8% employer funded St John’s Hospice Pension Scheme
