A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen in the Hospice for a Coordinator to lead our Family Support Team.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay: £27,809 – £28.665* per annum (*depending upon pension scheme)
Shift pattern: Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend
Pension scheme: 8% employer contribution (*NHS Pension Scheme available subject to eligibility)

As a qualified counsellor, the post holder will manage, develop and supervise a team of spiritual and bereavement care volunteers ensuring patients who are approaching the end of their life and their families receive the right support at the right time.
We are looking for someone with an understanding of palliative care who has experience of working with people of different ages and backgrounds. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and well developed therapeutic skills.
