As the Hospice for North Lancashire, the South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire, you will spread the message about our work, supporting loyal fundraisers and developing new income sources – this role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, has strong organisational skills and relishes building relationships. You will be part of a passionate and driven team who play a vital role in raising money to directly support patients and their loved ones. A fondness for cakes and coffee mornings is a definite plus!

As part of this role you will travel to events across the area we serve, and it is essential that you hold a full UK manual driving licence with business insurance. You will be entitled to claim out of pocket expenses (mileage and parking) in accordance with our policy.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. The cost of this check is currently ยฃ42.80 and this will be deducted from the successful applicants first salary payment.

Location:
Based from St John's Hospice, Lancaster
Hours:
28 to 35 per week depending on preference
Working pattern:
Flexibility needed to cover occasional evening & weekend community events with time off in lieu given for these hours

Permanent
Pay:
Up to ยฃ26,699.40 per annum (based on 35 hours per week, dependent on pension scheme)
Holiday:
27 days plus Bank Holidays (pro rata)
Pension:
St Johnโ€™s Hospice Pension Scheme (St Johnโ€™s pays an 8% employer contribution) or NHS Pension may be continued subject to eligibility
