We are looking to recruit an Administrator who will support the work of our Family Support Team (bereavement & spiritual care) and evolving Day Services by delivering an efficient and effective administrative service.

📍 Location: St John’s Hospice, Lancaster
⏰ Hours: 21 hours per week
✅ Role Type: Permanent
💰 Pay: £17,375* – £17,745 per annum pro rata, dependent upon pension scheme
💚 Pension: *NHS Pension Scheme available subject to availability criteria; or 8% employer funded St John’s Hospice Pension Scheme

Our ideal candidate will have experience of providing secretarial or administrative support to a busy department; experience of setting up and managing administrative systems and excellent interpersonal skills.
In this role you will:
- Support the work of the Family Support Team by ensuring all administration is carried out in a timely manner, accurately and consistently.
- Ensure all new bereavement referrals are processed in accordance with procedures using Excel spreadsheets and the electronic patient record system (EMIS) correctly registering clients and ensuring their contact information is correct.
- Provide administrative support developing and setting up Day Services programmes.
