This is a ladies only walk but men are welcome to help us marshal the event.
You must be 12 or over to enter the 14k walk or 16 or over to enter the 25k walk.
You cannot register on the night. An official registration form must have been submitted for each person taking part.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a ‘first come - first served’ basis.
All applicants enter entirely at their own risk, and St. John’s Hospice will not be liable for any injury or loss that might occur as part of their application.
If you are unable to take part, please let us know as soon as possible. You must not 'give’ your place to anyone else, but please contact us to let us know. You are able to substitute another person if you have entered online by following the instructions on your confirmation email.
Dogs are permitted to walk, but must be on a short lead. Our minibus will pick you and your dog up as long as it is well behaved.
We suggest that you bring a torch with you for the areas that may not be very well lit.
No walkers should commence walking until the Moonlight Walk is officially started at 10pm for the 25k, and midnight for the standard walk.
A nominated walker will lead the Moonlight Walk, no walkers should pass him/her. Running or jogging is not allowed.
Whilst on the walk please only cross roads where the marshals indicate it is safe to do so.
All walkers are requested to be considerate when walking through residential areas. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially when parking vehicles at or near the Hospice. Please share transport with friends if possible, as parking is limited.
