Community Fundraiser (Kendal & South Lakes)

This role matters: If you are looking for a role where your work is greatly valued by your team and the local community – this is your opportunity.

St John’s Hospice looks after the team that supports its community. The hospice offers a range of staff benefits to enhance your work-life balance, your health, and personal professional development and more.

You will be part of a passionate and driven team who play a vital role in their local community. Your work will directly support patients and their loved ones. As the hospice for North Lancashire, the South Lakes and part of North Yorkshire, you will be spreading the message about our work, supporting loyal fundraisers and developing new income sources to provide palliative care and bereavement support for people’s loved ones.

38 years ago, St John’s Hospice was built by the people for the people, and people rely on us to be there for one of the most difficult times in peoples’ lives. You can be part of this proud history and positive future. What we need from you is a desire to maintain and build relationships with people; confident communication skills; a can-do attitude; a love of local community events and a desire to raise money for a cause that works in the South Lakes Community. A fondness for cakes and coffee mornings is a definite plus!
